You stood in front of your parents who glared at the tall man next to you.

"____ ____ ___! This man is no good for you! It's either you leave him or we leave you!" You gasped as they said this. Were they really asking you to choose between them and the love of your life, Ivan? Ivan cleared his throat and quickly glanced at you, then looked to your parents.

"Mr. and Mrs _____, I do not know what i have done to make you hate me so much but for what ever it is i am sorry. I am not perfect but ____ is. She is my world so i will let her decide who she will go with... ______ who do you choose?" You looked to your parents and then to Ivan. Your mind was spinning in circles. Who to choose? The people who brought you into this world and raised you? Or the person you can find the very best in you at your worst, the person who can make you heart melt by one simple grin and the person you love with all your heart. 'Just follow your heart' echoed in your mind, and you did just that. You looked to ivan, and held his hand.

" Mother, Father... I am so sorry, but my heart is with Ivan." Ivan smiled and squeezed your hand.

" As is mine to you. Now go pack your things, you are coming with me." You nodded and looked to your parents. Your mother looked like she was going to cry and your father was red with anger. You headed up to your room and packed 2 suitcases with clothes and your most prized possessions. As you walked down you saw Ivan smile at you and you smiled back. You and Ivan walked to the door and as Ivan started the car, you turned and held both of your parents hands.

" I am so sorry for doing this but my heart told me to go with Ivan. Mother, you once told me to always follow my heart, for that is where happiness lies. My happiness with him and until you can accept where my heart lies this is farewell for now. When you do you know how to get a hold of me." You kissed both  of your parents cheeks. " I will always love you and I hope to see you again." and with that you climbed into Ivan's car.

He drove you to his house that was now yours also and walked inside. Your head hurt from all the different emotions swirling around in your head. You were so happy... yet so sad and confused. Tears flowed down your face and you fell to the ground. Ivan ran to you and pulled you into a warm embrace as he stroked your hair.

"shhhhh, it is ok da? Everything will turn out OK, don't worry." What kind of tears were you crying, joy or sadness? You didn't know, but they immediately turned to joy as soon as you looked into those beautiful violet irises that held his undying love for you.

" *sniffle* I know it will, and as long as I am with you I have no doubt about it." He smiled and gently pecked your lips.

" neither do I." He led you to the room that you now shared and put away your things. You put on your nightgown and climbed into bed. " I love you." He said

" I love you too." He wrapped his arms around you and you fell into a blissful sleep.

Those three words,

The next day Ivan woke you up early and told you to get dressed because he had something to show you. You got dressed and followed him into his car. When the car stopped you stepped out of the car, but a blindfold covered your eyes

"Ivan?"

" Just follow me, my little sunflower." He took a hold of your hand and led you somewhere that felt uphill. His hand left yours and you felt the blindfold being taken off of your face. Once your eyes adjusted to the light, you saw the breath taking sight before you. You were standing near the edge of a grassy cliff, and beyond it was a sunflower feild flowing in the wind, with the rising sun in the horizon. You looked slightly to your right to see Ivan laying down in the grass. You then walked over and laid down next to him, snuggling into his chest. His arms wrapped around you and you smiled at the feeling of his warm embrace. How you wished this moment would never end and you would never have to leave his embrace.

Your gazes locked and your lips met in a kiss filled with passion and the ever going spark that was your love for one another.

You both pulled apart as he stood up and you kneeled. You cocked your head to the side in confusion and he chuckled.

" Close your eyes my little sunflower, I have a wonderful surprise for you." Another surprise? What could possibly be any better than this? You nodded your head and closed your eyes. The sound of rustling grass and fabric was heard " Da, open your eyes now." Your eyes fluttered open to see Ivan kneeling in front of you with a diamond ring in a box. Tears of pure joy welled up in your eyes at the sight in front of you. " My little sunflower, the first time I saw you, I thought you were an angel sent from heaven above. To me, you are perfect in every way. The way your hair shines in the moonlight and the way your eyes sparkle when you look at me makes me fall deeper in love with you every time. My love for you is unconditional and I know I am unworthy of this but.......____ _____, will you make my dreams come true... and marry me?" You gazed into his eyes as tears streamed down your face

" yes Ivan, Yes!" He gently took your hand and slipped the ring on your finger. He pulled you into a kiss and you wrapped your arms around his neck as he wrapped his arms around your waist. On this inside you couldn't stop smiling. All that mattered to you was right now, with your new husband Ivan
